L&E works to pool resources and build a shared infrastructure to promote environmental causes. This includes the establishment of coalitions and forums that focus on the most important environmental issues.
Capacity Development for the Environmental Movement: As part of this line of work, L&E recently launched a three-year project for the professional development of the local Environmental Movement. The project focuses on developing multi-sectoral capabilities for coping with the climate crisis and developing a green economy in Israel, under the rationale that a concerted effort that combines professionals with a multidisciplinary approach, up-to-date knowledge on successful models for action, strategic partners from local government and administration, strengthening existing leverages in environmental movement and creating new centers of influence, will enable the Environmental Movement to impact the fast-changing reality.
